Castagno 18 is a project of fine furniture, made exclusively with solid chestnut wood from Ticino. As with every variate of wood, the quality of the chestnut timber depends on the place of its origin. The production cycle is carried out entirely in the Canton of Ticino (Switzerland) where we closely monitor the quality of the wood, accurately choosing the tree and supervising all its processing phases. Traditional joinery techniques are employed in favor of a minimalistic design that adds durability and retains the purity of the natural material. The furniture of Castagno 18 is the result of a meticulous design, which takes into consideration the history of Ticino culture, adapting its form to a universal and contemporary concept.
