“ Sacred Chess BOttanta “ a gift to Mario Botta in celebration of his eightieth birthday.

From an idea originated by Christiaan Stockx  ( Belgium ) and realised in just two months, by the undersigned Ivan Kunz, a collection was born that brings together Art and Architecture inside a single object. The project marries the sacred monuments of Mario Botta with the craftsmanship of the artisan and also includes a brief description of each church represented in the project. The polyvalent work becomes not only an object of artistic quality but also a sophisticated chess board and chess pieces.
