FEDERICO PINTO SCHMID – DiPinto

Federico Pinto Schmid was born on 06/05/1988 in Orbetello, a small town in the Tuscan Maremma.

He spent his childhood between Porto Ercole, where he grew up, and Germany, his father’s homeland, from which he inherited a passion for art.

The love for shapes and colors has always been within him, but it was in 2017 that he managed to dedicate his life to it. The beginning of his artistic career, despite having foundations since his childhood, found its roots during his stay in Zurich, Switzerland, where he began to focus solely on art.

His paintings are characterized by the predominance of the use of color and shapes, combined together to create harmonious and structured arrangements.

His collection can be divided into two main series: “Netti” and “Materia”, which express his personality. While the first series features predominance of order and color, the second can be defined as “impulsive” painting. The ambivalence between the two modes is guided by his spirit and his worldview, drawing inspiration from nature as a source of information and sensations.
