The starting materials are brass sheets, steel rods, precious stones, gold and silver.

Starting with loosely sketched sequences of ideas and unprocessed metal, Miki Eleta embarks on a journey into unknown territory with each project. It is only in the course of the work, when the cogwheels and levers come together in an initial interplay, that the mechanical and creative possibilities of the idea begin to emerge and the clock takes on its unique form.

Miki Eleta draws on his rich life experience in his creative work. Personal experiences and observations flow into the development of his clocks.
