Rossana Riboldi, born 1966, originally from Cassina Amata, a hamlet of Paderno Dugnano (Milan) and a few years ago moved to Gattico-Veruno, near Lakes Maggiore and Orta. Always fascinated by the world of ceramics, she started for fun and she defines herself as an artist by chance. Lover of nature and what it offers to human beings and also for this reason fascinated by the world of ceramics, a material that is born and transformed from the union of Water, Earth, Fire and Air. She studied processing techniques by attending some courses including raku; an ancient Japanese technique whose meaning is “pleasant, joy, harmony” and the final result of the piece is surprising, which she defines as “the beauty of imperfection“. Continuing to experiment with passion and curiosity is the thing that fascinates her most both in life and in art. Since 2023 she has been participating in art events in Italy and Switzerland and she is part of the association “Gli Artisti del Lago Maggiore” and of the “Gruppo Culturale Artisti di via Bagutta” in Milan (Italy).ROSSANA RIBOLDI
