ATELIER DA-TI

Heavy and fleeting works of art, enduring and moving, feminine and masculine, comprehensible and controversial; loving objects that dominate the space; two artists, one love: Tina and Dario, or Dario and Tina – simply dati. In their atelier in Pfäffikon, Zurich, sculptures, artworks, and paintings of international significance come to life. Here is an introduction to the two artists and a selection of works they will showcase at the YouNique Boutique Fair of Arts 2025:

DARIO PASQUALINO NORELLI

Italian, born in Switzerland, he has been dedicated since 1978 to transforming questions and thoughts into tangible forms. A man of few words, but with a striking truthfulness: he knows no banality. Like a modern sculptor, he prioritizes design, form, and volume over the representation of specific themes. From cold and rigid steel elements, he creates sculptures that seem to possess life. He places great importance on constructing sensuality through the simplicity of lines. His works explore themes such as the meaning of life and our relationship with eternity.

TINA ITIN

Tina Itin welds with mastery, creating infinite forms. Welded steel is a medium that combines art, craftsmanship, and industrial design. It is a relatively immediate process, allowing for expressive, improvisational, and sculptural freedom, perfectly aligned with the artist’s character. With an inexhaustible visual vocabulary, Tina Itin captures the essence of materials and forms, expressing herself with equal fluidity in the light and shadows of matter. Her sculptures, unique in the world, are produced exclusively at the dati atelier in Pfäffikon.
