Amani Zreba is a sculptor born in Tripoli (Libya) in 1981 who works in Ticino, in her studio in Massagno. She has always had artistic interests, but it was only in 2019 that she was able to dedicate herself to her art full-time. She loves experimenting with different artistic techniques, exploring the potential of various materials: bronze, marble, ceramics, wax, stone, and plaster. Symbols, metamorphosis, and archetypes fascinate her for their communicative power and the universal language they embody. The recurring themes in her works include transformation, the relationship between humans and nature, the contrast between nature and culture, the feminine in its many facets, archetypes, and mythology. The artist says: «Art is my way of engaging with existential research: a journey towards discovering myself and my relationship with reality». AMANI ZREBA
