YouNique Boutique Fair of Arts returns to Lugano from March 28 to 30, 2025, in the enchanting setting of Villa Ciani, a 19th-century villa overlooking Parco Ciani and the stunning natural beauty of Lake Ceresio. YouNique is the event where beauty meets art to celebrate artistic creativity in all its forms. Over 50 art galleries and independent artists from Switzerland and across Europe will fill the 34 rooms arranged across three floors, offering art enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to discover and purchase the exhibited works while meeting their creators up close.
It won’t just be the new exhibitors that make the 2025 Boutique Fair of Arts an unforgettable experience; visitors will also have the chance to admire new, unique, and captivating works from 10 artists and galleries who were already present in the 2024 edition. The 2024 edition, the fifth in its history, marked a decisive shift for YouNique toward the world of contemporary art, a transformation underscored by the renewal of its logo and tagline, which will debut at the opening on March 28.

The Sculptures of Irena Dragova, Claudia Hartmann, Elisabeth Hübscher, and Rossana Riboldi
Contemporary art at YouNique 2025 will once again feature an abundance of sculpture, with four talented artists returning to Villa Ciani to showcase their works, beloved by many visitors during the 5th Edition. In Irena Dragova’s creations, one encounters deeply personal, dark, and unmistakable traits that become expressions of attitudes and emotions rooted in everyday life. Her works depict evolving bodies capable of conveying torment and emotion, offering a profound reflection on existence. A similar exploration of life is evident in the sculptures of Elisabeth Hübscher, whose art seeks to evoke a rare sense of sacredness in today’s world. Her creations demand quiet and respectful observation, rewarding viewers with feelings of fulfillment, peace, and serenity. This thoughtful dialogue between sculpture and human emotion continues to be a hallmark of YouNique’s artistic vision.

His works are symbolic of how humble materials can narrate, much like a diary, the nature and evolution of the human being. Marks, writings, symbols, images, and dust are transformed and given new dignity through art.
