LIMITED EDITION DESIGN OBJECTS 

CRAAFTS is a brand born in 2013 from EBI HANDMADE ACCESSORIES experience: a laboratory fucused in special handcrafted products for High Fashion. CRAAFTS, works on the border between fashion, design, art and high craftsmanship, dealing with textile surfaces, exclusively handmade. Each surface has origins from processes performed with ancient artisan techniques, revisited and made contemporary.

Craafts is led by the creative duo Elif Malkoclar and Davide Dell’Acqua, architects who embody a design approach that crosses the edge between lifestyle and design objects. They consider themselves a ‘Double A’ team: both Architects and Artisans.

Craafts creates handmade masterpieces for the couture industry and designers around the world. Drawing on many years of experience, he creates trends and unique pieces for the main high fashion and design collections.

Throughout its history, Craafts has built, with dedication, passion and maximum attention to detail, an archive of over 6,000 textile samples made exclusively by hand.

Craafts is a constantly evolving project that blends contemporary craftsmanship and materials to inspire and support designers in creative processes.

CRAAFTS COLLECTION offers objects on the borderline between a work of art, limited series production of high craftsmanship and unique or personalized pieces. Where the artifact is the way to “tell”. What is captured from reality, what inspires, what is desired, intertwines and takes shape in Craafts objects.

TEA – CRAAFTS ARMCHAIR COLLECTION

Inspired design by outdoor seating with a circular metal structure, usually decorated in wicker or straw, in vogue in the 1950s.

The reinterpretation by Craafts provides for an extremely elaborate workmanship in the seat panel that contrasts with the structural simplicity of the powder-coated metal tubing.

The triple knot processing (similar to a macrame) of the tubolar leather panel is performed by expert craftsmen and guarantees a comfortable and relaxing seat.
