After her graduation in Sculpture at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in 1994, Federica Rettore established her own atelier a creative space devoted to designing and crafting jewelry. From the very beginning, her style has consistently distinguished itself through a bold sense of originality and curious, eclectic exploration of materials, often blending unexpected elements in surprising and innovative ways — ranging from the most precious to the most unconventional. Each creation is conceived as a small sculpture: the result of experience, aesthetic research, and craftsmanship, in a continuous dialogue between tradition and experimentation. Between 2011 and 2019, her work was repeatedly recognized with the Jewelry Design Award at Couture in Las Vegas, one of the most prestigious international events in the field. In recent years, Federica Rettore’s artistic journey has naturally evolved toward larger sculptural creations, while maintaining the same spirit of expressive freedom that animates her jewelry pieces. Her sculptures combine ceramics, oriental woods, and ropes, shaping a language that intertwines handcraft heritage and Japanese techniques with the vitality of nature. Each creation carries a profound sense of harmony and uniqueness, inviting a direct relationship with space, color, and form. Federica Rettore’s works are at once sculptural and functional — objects that embody a story and an authentic presence, born from a creative process that is constantly evolving.
