YouNique Boutique Fair of Arts 2026 concluded with excellent attendance and a growing interest in the artists and galleries showcased at Villa Ciani. Total attendance surpassed 3,000 visitors, with a clear increase in sales that continued in the days following the event weekend.
These results confirm YouNique’s upward trend, driven by an increasingly compelling exhibition path and meticulously curated selections. The Ticinese and international audience of this 7th edition proved to be attentive, engaged, and deeply interested in the content provided, from in-depth Talks on contemporary art to live performances.
“We are particularly satisfied not only with the high turnout but also with the excellent sales results recorded by galleries and artists. This is a concrete signal of a vibrant, dynamic market and an audience that is increasingly conscious and focused on quality,” said Andrea Peri, creator and curator of YouNique. “A distinctive and highly attractive element is the care dedicated to creating a hybrid journey that alternates independent artists and galleries—a winning and unique format on the international stage.”
YouNique is now firmly established among Switzerland’s leading contemporary art fairs, drawing steadily increasing interest from a select, largely invitation-only audience of private individuals, collectors, and industry professionals. Attendance at the Talks was particularly significant, and the response to the live painting performances by artist Ronal Bejarano was extraordinary, attracting a large and captivated crowd every day.
The space dedicated to Pasto Sospeso (Suspended Meal) was also highly appreciated. This charitable initiative, organized in collaboration with Rotary Club Lugano Lago and featuring the charismatic Fra Martino Dotta, director of the Fondazione Francesco, allowed visitors to actively contribute to meal donations for those in need. This project added concrete value to the fair experience, strengthening the bond between art, community, and social responsibility. The generous audience of YouNique – Boutique Fair of Arts made it possible to reach a total of 270 donated meals—an excellent result of which we are very proud.
The success of this seventh edition serves as a powerful incentive to continue innovating and expanding the fair’s cultural offering. The team is already at work on the next edition, scheduled for March 2027, which promises to be even richer and more open to international dialogue.
