FRANÇOIS BONJOUR

He is an artist living and working in Dino (Lugano).

He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries both in Switzerland and abroad and he has been included in the catalog of contemporary artists since 1981 and is an active member of Visarte.

He participated in the Venice Biennale 2019 with an installation at Palazzo BEMBO, organized by the “European Cultural Centre.”

In his works, he uses humble materials that become the skin of the city. Recovered from waste, he transforms them to give them a new dignity. The signs, writings, symbols, images, materials, and dust are to him like a diary of our existence, bridging the past and present while looking into the future.
