On March 28, 29, and 30, the sixth edition of YouNique – Boutique Fair of Arts 2025 took place in Lugano. It was the first edition entirely dedicated to the world of contemporary art, featuring many new developments and confirming the appreciation of an increasingly knowledgeable and discerning audience.
The 2025 edition, thanks to the artistic direction’s decision to dedicate the exhibition spaces exclusively to contemporary art, allowed YouNique—now the only fair of its kind in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland—to consolidate its reputation as a successful and steadily growing “boutique fair.” The event had the honor of hosting exhibitors and artists from all over the world, offering visitors a unique and exciting experience with an international flair. The quality expressed by independent artists and galleries, the elegance of Villa Ciani and its exhibition layout, and the atmosphere—described by all as “welcoming”—confirmed the Boutique Fair of Arts in Lugano as a new reference point for art enthusiasts and an unmissable event.
YouNique 2025, despite being the first edition without the presence of high artistic craftsmanship, successfully confirmed its growth and marked the beginning of a new direction in which contemporary art will be the absolute protagonist of the Lugano event in the coming years.
Highly appreciated by both visitors and invited guests was the addition of two talks alongside the exhibition route, focusing on Art as an Investment and Artificial Intelligence in Art. Both were sold out and sparked lively and engaging debates between the speakers and the audience in attendance. The talks of the 6th Edition of YouNique were organized by Hub Art, a consultancy firm dedicated to curating and enhancing artistic value, and were moderated by its founder, Greta Zuccali, with topics addressed from economic, legal, ethical, and creative-artistic perspectives.
Its strategic location—straddling northern Italy, Switzerland, and Central Europe—makes YouNique a fair with great potential, one that will continue to innovate in the years to come. This was hinted at by the words of Director Andrea Peri, who, for the 2026 edition, expressed the desire to bring art beyond the walls of Villa Ciani. So now, we just have to wait: the next edition will take place at Villa Ciani on March 27, 28, and 29, 2026.
