The chromatic and symbolic power of Cris Devil’s works will enhance the Première of the 6th Edition of YouNique Boutique Fair of Arts, bringing an explosion of colors and meanings to Lugano. On the exclusive opening night of Friday, March 28th—reserved for the VIP guests of Boutique Fair 2025—the Italian artist (represented by Zanini Arte), one of the most vibrant figures in the contemporary Neo-Pop Surrealist scene, will deliver a unique performance in Sala 22 of Villa Ciani. This special happening will unveil, in a world premiere, Breaking Out, his latest work, where painting and poetry intertwine in a play of illusions and symbols.
Cris Devil’s art, a bold fusion of pop culture and surrealist tradition, challenges aesthetic conventions with a visual language full of tension and innovation. Through fluorescences, sharp contrasts, and distorted perspectives, he invites the audience to immerse themselves in a universe where irony and social commentary blend in a visual and conceptual dance. His performance during the Première on March 28th will be an unmissable moment of YouNique 2025.
The Première: An Exclusive YouNique Experience
As in previous editions, YouNique 2025 will open with the Première, a special invite-only event held in Villa Ciani on the first evening of the fair. Alongside Cris Devil’s performance, the official inauguration of the Boutique Fair will take place, officiated by Andrea Peri, curator of YouNique, Sonia Gaffuri, event manager of YouNique, and Roberto Badaracco, Deputy Mayor of the City of Lugano. A unique opportunity for contemporary art lovers, collectors, artists, media, and professionals in the art world, who will be welcomed by the enchanting atmosphere of Villa Ciani’s halls. Throughout the evening of Friday, March 28th, invited guests will have the chance to explore the exhibition rooms, meet the exhibitors of the new YouNique edition, and admire their evocative artworks up close.
